The Literature House has received a wide reception and performs an important contribution to the promotion of literature and literacy through its programs. This is accomplished through readings, podium discussions, seminars and exhibits.

Private initiatives, crucial for the construction of the house, are also essential for the ongoing planning of events. For the latter, the following individuals have been especially supportive: Wolfgang Balk, Martine Dornier-Tiefenthaler, Dr. Reinhard Dörfler, Dr. Manfred Scholz, Prof. Wilhelm Wimmer, Frank Wössner. This circle of friends and sponsors is meant to ensure that individuals and corporations are brought together in their engagement for literature and literacy. Every donation is applied directly and without exception towards the coordination of programs and events.

The friends and sponsors of the Literature House receive information regularly about the House and its scheduled events and are invited to special events and exhibit openings as well as to other non-public events. We ask for a yearly contribution of Euro 60, Euro 30 for students, and Euro 500 from businesses. We will provide you with a receipt for your contribution.
